Rudolf Rentsch

HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS, PARTNER ROSE

Rudolf Rentsch studied law at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). He worked for the Swiss Antitrust Authority and prepared and published a PhD thesis on competition law. He then joined Homburger, a leading law firm in Zurich, where he supported clients in the acquisition or sale of companies of all sizes and sectors. In 2005 he moved to Chicago, where he gained further legal and economic know-how before settling in Prague in 2006. He became a partner at the German law firm Gleiss Lutz. In 2010, he founded Rentsch Legal and SauterRentsch M&A, a consulting company in Prague that focuses on support in the purchase or sale of companies. Thus, he has many times either advised clients - owners of companies who did not have a clear plan how to organize their assets, including companies from a legal perspective, or helped them to sell their company in a profitable way, usually to a foreign investor. He himself comes from a family business background. He enjoys researching investment projects, not only as an advisor, but more importantly as an investor. He is licensed to practice law under both Swiss and Czech law.
